Construction Document Controls: A Fictional 12-Record Evidence & Decision Audit

Fictional ATLAS Infrastructure Evidence Desk demonstration. The example below uses an invented twelve-row project register, not a customer site or an actual engineering assessment. It illustrates how a documented workflow can expose missing references and unanswered project decisions without pretending to certify safety or compliance.

What the input contains

A simple register with record IDs, workstream, event title, source document reference, logged and due dates, status, owner, decision-needed indicator and explanatory notes. The source file can be fingerprinted with SHA-256 to establish which copy was reviewed. This does not prove that the source facts are complete or authentic.

Fictional output: 12 records

Disposition Records Interpretation
HOLD 4 Missing reference, duplicated record IDs or inconsistent date format requiring correction
REVIEW 4 Unconfirmed decision, overdue open entry or missing assigned owner
SCREENED 4 No exceptions under these limited administrative checks; human validation still necessary

Examples of documented exceptions

  • Fictional RFI-002: source document reference absent; flagged HOLD until an authorized team member identifies the record.
  • Fictional SUB-003: open document-control item with a past due date; flagged REVIEW for follow-up.
  • Fictional RFI-006: duplicated identifier in the supplied register; both rows held to prevent accidental merging.
  • Fictional ACT-008: no owner assigned; flagged for administrative REVIEW.

What an actual $299 ATLAS pilot includes

Our ATLAS Infrastructure Intelligence — Evidence & Decision Pilot is a fixed-scope, professionally reviewed administrative service for one project, up to fifty records in a compatible CSV register, and up to three relevant supporting files once secure intake is agreed. Deliverables include the exception register, documented file hashes, an offline HTML summary and a correction round for transcription errors. Delivery is targeted five business days after intake acceptance, subject to blockers.

This service does not include licensed engineering, safety evaluation, structural or electrical adequacy, design approvals, a legal conclusion, real-time monitoring, live construction-system access, field inspection or construction authorization. Clients must retain the originals, confirm all classifications and obtain required licensed review independently.

Need a repeatable process for checking your own exported RFI, submittal and action logs first? Use the free 10-point administrative QA checklist to identify missing IDs, owners, dates and decision handoffs without uploading confidential project files.

Choose the currently available scope

For up to 25 permitted project register records, use our $99 administrative action-and-decision scan. The broader $299 Infrastructure Evidence & Decision Pilot adds limited source-file provenance and a deeper QA handoff for up to 50 records. Separate custom spreadsheet services are temporarily unpublished while workbook acceptance and customer-delivery checks are completed.
